Things to do

One thing is for certain, getting bored on the island of Malta is not an option. There is an abundance of activities, and places to visit, whether its in the summer or winter time.

Mornings might be spent visiting the old silent Capital Mdina, or the Hypogeum in Paola, or visit the St John Cathedral in Valletta… There is lots of history in Malta ranging from old Megalithic sites to modern second World war Museums’ or even a Classic Car museum.

If you tire from historical sites, try scuba diving where Malta is renowned for for its wrecks. Or even try one of many tours from Jeep safaris to open top bus tours.

Marsaxlokk is situated closed to many beaches… Sandy and flat limestone beaches. Try the sandy beach at Birzebbugia or St Thomas Bay in Marsascala.

For the evenings, visit Marsascala which is popular with the Maltese and families. There are lots of restaurants and cafes and bars. Visit the three Cities at Birgu… Lots of lovely restaurants and great views of the Grand Harbour in Valletta.
